Notes for Sarah Elizabeth Shannon:

I (Sandy Gomer) have not proven that Sarah is daughter of William H. Shannon and Mahala Griffis.

However, Sarah and Benjamin Baker WILSON lived in the same area of Coosa Co., AL William and Mahala SHANNON (they were the only SHANNONs in Coosa Co. who were the right age to be Sarah's parents), moved to the same area of Columbia Co., AR as the other children of William and Mahala SHANNON, and named one of their daughters Mahala.

Notes for Charlotte Miller:

According to the Ebenezer Church Cookbook, Charlotte donated the land for the Ebenezer Church and Cemetery.
