Notes for Minnie Tenella Lewter:
Madison left everything to Kitty and she died
in 1918. Annie Rebecca Lewter's family lived 'next door' to the east and
Tenella Lewter's family lived 'next door' to the west. All these folks were
very close and all the kids grew up together and their kids kids grew up
together and on and on. I don't know the dynamic that made Madison choose these two children to benefit
after Kitty's death, though. I've always figured the three sisters either died
or married between 1880 and 1900 as they don't show in 1900.
