Lillie May Lewter's Will
memory , but realizing the uncertainity of this earthly existence do make this
my last will and testament.
First: My Executor hereinafter named shall give my body a decent burial suitable
to the wishes of my friends and relatives and pay all my funeral expenses together with all my just debts out of the first moneys which may come in to his hands belonging to my estate.
Second: I give and devise my share in my fathers land to my mother Georgie Rose in fee simple forever.
Third: I give and devise to my mother Georgie Rose one libary table, one couch,
two trunks and their belonging, all of my drugets, two pillars, one boulster, all of
my bed clothes that I had before I was married, one note against E.R. Taylor, one note against J.W. & N.S. Rose in case I do not collect the notes before my death, and the insurance due me by the U.S. Government on the policy of my first husband.
Third: I give and devise to my mother Georgie Rose all my money after paying my burial expenses and providing a tombstone at my grave and the grave of my father and the cement work to cost not less than two hundred dollars each. Cement work to be extra.
Fourth: I give and devise to my mother Georgie Rose my small diamond ring.
Fifth: I give and devise to my husband J.T. Lewter during his life and at his death to my mother if she is living, and if not to my brothers and sister, these articles of
personal property: one feather bed, one cook stove, one kitchen cabinet, six stool
bottom chairs, one dining room table, one round center table, six leather bottom
chairs, two rocking chairs, one piano organ, one automobile to be kept in good
running shape, I give to him forever, one large diamond ring and one ruby ring,
and he is to use my crocry ware and china in the same way.
Sixth: My husband shall have the right to select my casket to cost not less than one hundred and fifty dollars, and my shroud to be eight dollars, and to have the cement work done on my grave like my fathers to be paid by my executor.
Seventh: I hereby constitute and appoint my trusted friend Russel Britton, my lawful executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof. Hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof, I the said Lillie May Lewter do hereby set my hand, and seal this December 9, 1924.
